Whether it’s a lavish celebration or an intimate gathering, the vision you have for your event is unique to you, and the final product should be too. Instead of modelling any event off of a previous one I’ve designed, I work alongside my clients step-by-step to ensure every detail is personalized to the experience you want to deliver.
We start by meeting in person or virtually, preferably in the space where the event will be held. Next, I’ll put together décor mock-ups to align your vision with the space we have to work with, taking into account your theme, goals and preferences. From there, we’ll have regular check-ins leading up to event day, allowing you peace of mind and confidence that your expertly-curated experience is taking shape.

Meet Your Coordinator
Lauren Richardson-Berg
During my time working as a Human Resources professional within the corporate world, it was in my job description to coordinate events. Whether it was a small office lunch or a company-wide party for several hundred people, I found the process of planning, designing and executing events energizing, and it quickly became my favourite part of my role. It wasn’t long before this newfound ‘hobby’ started to filter into my personal life, and I found myself organizing parties and celebrations for friends and family. In 2024, I bet on myself, fully leaning into this talent and passion and founded LRB Events + Design.
As an event planner, my job is to listen first—to understand the ‘why’ behind the event and its deeper significance and importance to the host. Learning about the details and inspiration helps me conceptualize from the ground up to create individualized events that are specially curated for each client. Nothing brings me greater joy in my work than to see a finished product and hear positive feedback from clients and their guests.
To continue growing my skill set and expertise, I am currently in the process of gaining my Event Planning Certification through the QC Event School, as well as becoming a Certified Balloon Artist (CBA).
